:: The FNM Racing Team wins again

After years and years of gasoline engine dominance in the Endurance competitions, the FNM marine diesel engines won another race in the Endurance Italian Championships last Sunday (Boat Production class). In Bellaria-Igea Marina, Rimini, Italy, FNM won the fourth race of the Italian Championships, group B. This was the second consecutive win for the FNM Racing Team. After the recent win in Domaso, the FNM Racing Team once again won first place thanks to the great performance from pilots Ferdinando Talamo and Luigi Aruta (Polisportiva Racing Team, Sicily), who were at the head of the Naumacodesign RIB equipped with two FNM HPEP engines (200 HP each).
It is worth remembering that Ferdinando Talamo and Luigi Aruta won the Endurance 2006 World Champions last year with the FNM Racing Team. The outstanding power and torque of the FNM engines enabled the FNM Racing Team pilots to finish the race in 41´58´´44, over one minute faster than the team that came in second.
The next appointment is in Anzio where the Endurance World Championships will take place in September (7-8-9) and the goal for the FNM Racing Team is to have a second      consecutive win. For the FNM Racing Team it would be further proof of the unbelievable growth that FNM has experienced over the past few years thanks to the new HPE (High Performance Engines) Series; a series of direct injection, turbodiesel after-cooled Common Rail Multijet engines that has been received with a lot of enthusiasm and success all over the International markets.

See you in Anzio in September!

The FNM 5-cylinder engine, HPEP 225 (225 HP) complete with Mercruiser Bravo One stern drive, has won the Endurance World Champion title in the Boat Production category. The competition took place in Sarnico, Italy, between the 8th and the 10th of September.

The HPEP 225 was mounted on a 7 mt. RIB, the Master 685 Racing, produced by Master Gommoni, Sicily.

This is the first time that a diesel engine has ever won this competition. This is further proof that diesel engines are becoming more and more a popular choice against petrol and, even more importantly, this is further proof that diesel engines have got nothing less than petrol engines when it comes to boat performance, acceleration and high torque.

The official FNM Racing Team is made of Ferdinando Talamo (Pilot) and Luigi Aruta (Co-Pilot).
